The Quiz Club of JG College of Commerce had organised a Quiz workshop and a Quiz competition in the college campus on 20 August 2019.
63 students had registered for the workshop from UG and PG levels. Alumni students also came to attend the workshop. The workshop was organised to give instructions and information about the various types of quiz and various rounds and how to smartly answer each question. A presentation regarding the achievements of JGCC in various levels of Quiz Competition in many different places, over the years was also made to motivate new quizzers to perform better.. The students were also informed about the different ways in which Quizzing can allow a person to earn a livelihood as well by becoming a Quiz Master, Content Writer or being on the Creative Team.
Following the workshop, a G.K. Quiz Competition was also arranged where the Quiz Club members conducted all the rounds. 4 winners were declared, who were given certificates as well.
Dr. Delnaz Jokhi, as the Quiz Club Convenor and Coordinator, along with her team, made this event a success.
I/c Principal Dr. Arati Shah also encouraged the students to participate in such competitions and increase their knowledge.
