JGCC Collegiate Women’s Development Committee Report :
Under Women‘s Development Cell policy of the Gujarat University, it is mandatory for every college affiliated to Gujarat University to constitute a Collegiate Women’s Development with five members.
Composition of CWDC
JG College Of Commerce established Collegiate Women‘s Development Committee (C.W.D.C.) in 2007-2008, as per the directive of the Gujarat University, and Honorable Supreme Court, to ensure the prevention of any kind of harassment against women.
Objectives :
- To establish gender equality in the campus.
- To prevent sexual harassment of girls in the college.
- To provide procedure for the grievances.
- To offer guidance, counseling and special learning resource facility to girl students.
- To empower female students and sensitize male students about women’s issues.
- To spread awareness of the rights of women.
- To inculcate awareness about social issues among students.

JG College of Commerce has organised various workshops for the Quizzing Minds. Over the years, the students of JG College of Commerce have participated in various inter-college and inter-university quiz competition and have come-out as winners in many.
The latest activity of the quiz club is :
JG College of Commerce believes in the holistic development of students. To nurture the creative side and to provide exposure regarding different new areas of extra-curricular activities, JG College of Commerce started the Photography Club. Budding photographers are given a platform at JGCC to develop their photography skills. The club had organised an inter college photography competition. The students have taken part in several photography competitions and emerged as winners.
The latest achievement is of Nishant Soni JGCC Photography Club member and a student of TY won the 3rd prize in the Online Global photography competition.
